Taiwan Solo Guitarist | HuanYin Liu Huan-Yin

HuanYin picked up the guitar at age 16, starting with folk guitar before transitioning to steel-string fingerstyle.

In 2015, HuanYin competed in Taiwan's prestigious Utopia Guitar Competition and took second place. In 2023, HuanYin entered the international WAGF Guitar Competition, advancing to the top five finalists in the original composition category.

In 2019, HuanYin released the single "It's Alright," accompanied by a narrative music video based on personal experience—exploring the unknown path of pursuing dreams. This marked the official beginning of HuanYin's career as a guitarist. In 2020, the debut mini-album "Toward the Sun" was released, featuring an animated music video paired with uplifting melodies that resonated deeply with guitar enthusiasts.

HuanYin's signature style combines delicate, spacious fingerstyle playing with the sonic vocabulary of modern steel-string guitar, creating a one-person-band musical expression. The compositions draw inspiration from fleeting moments of everyday life, transforming memories and time into quiet, intricate sonic narratives through warm and luminous tones—evoking a fresh and understated musical atmosphere reminiscent of morning light.

In 2022, HuanYin established "Wood Music Studio" in Taipei to promote fingerstyle guitar, later transitioning to managing a personal YouTube channel—"Singing in String." The channel features HuanYin's performance videos and the "Singing in String" series, sharing insights about fingerstyle guitar.
